Subspecies, varieties, forms and cultivars of plants belonging to the Euphorbia tulearensis group

  • Euphorbia tulearensis (Rauh) Rauh: has a tuberous caudex with a crown of short to elongate fat branches and forms a bonsai-like bush up to 20 cm tall. Distribution: Tulear and Saint Augustin areas.
  • Euphorbia tulearensis f. cristata monstruosa hort.: it ramify dichotomously creating a dense growth of fat stems. The single heads have also the tendency to fan out (cristate) and just cluster over one another.
